KidsWow facilitator teaching a STEM concept

The KidsWow facilitator demonstrates how a particular tool or machine works, shares a core concept, or connects ideas together.

Students exploring with flexible, hands-on STEM time

The participants are given structured but flexible time to gravitate toward their particular interest so they can learn for themselves.

Students working deeply on robotics projects

The KidsWow facilitator rotates through the room to ask and answer questions, notice what inspires each individual, and introduce new ideas for those ready to dive deeper.

We forget what we hear. We remember what we do.

Simple steps

How It Works

  1. Connect with us

Tell us about your group, student ages, and whether you're interested in a weekly program or a 2–3 day STEM camp.

  2. Learn by doing

Students build, test, and explore through hands-on projects in physics, programming, and design.

  3. Keep exploring

Core Pillars

Science

The foundational concepts of science boil down to physics concepts like motion, thermodynamics, and electromagnetic waves. These may seem like big words, but they can be broken down into simple, concrete ideas. KidsWow STEM explores core ideas and makes them concrete through hands-on experience.

Technology

If we know a principle of physics, like motion, can we use it to make something we can actually see, feel, or use? That is basically the definition of technology. In KidsWow STEM, participants can explore actually programming a computer chip and connecting the program to a motor or a sensor. Genuine understanding comes through connecting an idea to a real project.

Engineering

How do we turn an idea into a reality? In KidsWow STEM, participants learn about design, problem solving, and how to properly use tools and resources. The emphasis is on exploration along with trial and error.

Math

If you are trying to make something like a machine, computer, or bridge, you need to ensure that it will all fit together and won't break or fall apart the moment you use it. Math is the precision behind science, tech, and engineering. KidsWow STEM gets kids in touch with the essential formulas and math principles to create work that lasts.
